Division of Continuing Education
Through the Harvard Extension School and Harvard Summer School, the
Harvard Division of Continuing Education gives the wider community access
to many of the University's academic resources through its hundreds of
open-enrollment courses offered both online and on campus. Its faculty,
drawn in part from around the University, often bring their valuable
research to the classroom, while its Distance Education initiative has
emerged as a proving ground for Harvard faculty experimenting with online
teaching methods and technology.
