Gabrielse Group

The Gabrielse research group undertakes a variety of atomic, optical, elementary particle, plasma and low temperature physics experiments. The group's nested Penning trap, invented and demonstrated as a method for getting cold antiprotons and cold positrons to interact, is a promising tool for the study of two component plasmas.
