New England Centenarian Study

People who live past the age of 100 are a select group who have a history of aging relatively slowly and who have either markedly delayed or entirely escaped diseases normally associated with aging such as Alzheimer's disease, cancer, stroke and heart disease. The study seeks to understand how and why the centenarians are able to live to such old age, the vast majority of which is spent in excellent health.
