Physicians' Health Study
The Physicians' Health Study began as a long-term study of the effects of aspirin and beta-carotene on cancer and cardiovascular disease. Now in phase II, it tests the effects of vitamins on cancer, cardiovascular disease, and age-related eye disease. The participants are also tracked for other health issues, too.
